In 99% mint sharp stunning condition, we have prime museum grade example of the Colt Model 1917 US Service Revolver in .45acp. This is 100% factory original, all matching with a mint bore and appears to never have been fired. It would be tough to find a more pristine example than this. Records indicate that this revolver was shipped to the Springfield Armory on May 18, 1918. The M-1917 revolver was widely issued in both World Wars and was used by other federal agencies such as the Post office and the Treasury department for many years. This is a US Army WW1 classic.
