In excellent minus condition, we have a very scarce German Steyr Assembled 660 code 1940 dated G.29/40 K98k Service Rifle. The G.29/40 Rifle is basically a German 98k rifle that was assembled with Polish wz29 Mauser Parts that were captured at the Radom plant in Poland. In 1939 and 40 these parts were assembled into 98k rifles at the Steyr factory in Austria. These rifles mostly ended up with the Kriegsmarine and the Luftwaffe, this is eagle H marked for the army. They are scarce and rarely ever seen this nice and matching. The rifle is all matching and the bore is mint and it is a top example. These Polish/Nazi rifles are highly sought after by collectors due to there unique history. This is a great find and will not last for long.
